Storm Track Appeasement: Defending Our Culture? How unPC of You!

It didn't take long to happen.

When the town council of Hérouxville in Quebec issued a set of wide-ranging rules for immigrants considering moving there - including bans on beating or burning women alive, veiling one's face and children carrying symbolic weapons to school - the appeasers and apologists, flying under the flag of multiculturalism and political correctness, went ballistic.

Organizations representing minorities are outraged by a Quebec town's “standards” for newcomers, calling them insulting and xenophobic……“It is totally distasteful to see someone using this kind of writing and putting it in a public domain, and this is not just an ordinary someone, these are people in authority,” said Salam Elmenyawi, president of the Muslim Council of Montreal.

Yep, bans on beating or burning women alive, veiling one's face and children carrying symbolic weapons to school – very distasteful.

Critics urged Quebec Premier Jean Charest — who called the standards an “isolated case” earlier this week — to strongly denounce the town officials. They also want the mayor and councillors to apologize and retract the document.

Does the word ‘apologist’ ring a bell, Mr. Charest?

“It tries to make a mockery of this whole debate about reasonable accommodation, and it tries to say that these are our rules and if you don't like them, don't come here,” said Steven Slimovitch, national legal counsel for B'nai Brith Canada. “The whole tone of the document, and it says so quite clearly, is that this is the law of the strong.”

Oh really? Reasonable accommodations? Molestation of little girls? Beheadings? Putting women in sacks? Attacks against free speech? Forcing the non-Muslim population to adhere to Shariah law? Intimidating the non-Muslim population? Or perhaps the reasonable accommodations that are made for Jews in the Muslim world?

Hérouxville doesn’t want to see that kind of ‘accommodations’ show up in their town.

Hérouxville is a town of 1,300, including just one immigrant family, in central Quebec, about 165 kilometres northeast of Montreal. Officials, who say they want to attract more immigrants, say the document is intended to help newcomers “integrate socially.”

“We would especially like to inform the new arrivals that the lifestyle that they left behind in their birth country cannot be brought here with them and they would have to adapt to their new social identity,” it says.

The Hérouxville document says women can drive, dance, vote, sign cheques and speak for themselves. Boys and girls swim together in the same pools, men and women ski on the same slopes and play hockey on the same rinks. “Don't be surprised, this is normal for us,” it says. The only time residents can veil their faces, it says, is during Halloween. It also dismisses Muslim and Jewish dietary laws, saying: “If our children eat meat, for example, they don't need to know where it came from or who killed it. Our people eat to nourish the body, not the soul.”

“It kind of goes against anything we've ever heard as far as laws protecting people's rights. So some town in Quebec is coming up with something very unusual here.”

Very unusual indeed. IT’S CALLED DEFENDING THE CULTURE!

Such a heady concept for the politically correct world. And the PC police should be afraid – very afraid. Because this “isolated case” is spreading.

Hérouxville's initiative is spreading, with the town council in a nearby village, Saint-Roch-de-Mékinac, set to debate a similar resolution Friday night. Mayor Claude Dumont said the resolution is “saying out loud what some people are thinking quietly but don't have the balls to say.” Mr. Dumont added that three other communities outside of his village, population 311, are thinking of passing their own resolutions.

The town councils in those cities have my vote.

Storm Track Intimidation: A Week in the Life of the Islamist Intimidators

It’s been quite a week last week for the jihadists and their intimidation tactics on the non-Muslim world. But there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

We all know of the Muslim women who refused to remove her veil at the request of car rental company.

Now she is demanding another hearing.

HAMTRAMCK, Michigan (AP) - A Muslim woman who lost her small-claims case against a car rental company after she refused to remove her veil while testifying has been granted a new hearing. The decision came after Ginnnah Muhammad of Detroit wore a scarf and veil that covers her head and face, leaving only the eyes visible, during a court hearing.

Muhammad wanted to contest a rental car company's charge to repair a vehicle she said had been broken into by thieves. The judge told her he needed to see her face to determine her truthfulness, and gave her a choice: remove the covering while testifying or have the case dismissed. She kept it on, and the judge ordered her to pay the rental car company. Muhammad successfully argued that she shouldn't have been forced to choose between her religious beliefs and her case and has been granted a new hearing next month.

Here are others. A very busy week for Islamists.

PARIS (Reuters) - A French Muslim who attacked a male gynaecologist for examining his wife just after she had given birth, saying it was against Islam, has been jailed for six months by a Paris court. Fouad ben Moussa burst into the delivery room at a Paris hospital last November and shoved, slapped and insulted Dr Jean-Francois Oury as he examined the woman after a complicated birth, the prosecution said in court on Wednesday.

Chi-Coms Kowtow to Muslim Intolerance: No Pig Ads for China's Year ...
SHANGHAI -- Next month, China will ring in the Year of the Pig. Nestle SA planned to celebrate with TV ads featuring a smiling cartoon pig. "Happy new pig year," the ads said. This week, China Central Television, the national state-run TV network, banned Nestle's ad -- and all images and spoken references to the animal in commercials, including those tied to the Lunar New Year, China's biggest holiday. The intent: to avoid offending Muslims, who consider pigs unclean. "China is a multiethnic country," the network's ad department said in a notice sent to ad agencies late Tuesday. "To show respect to Islam, and upon guidance from higher levels of the government, CCTV will keep any 'pig' images off the TV screen."

Montreal man refuses religious divorce to Muslim wife he stabbed
MONTREAL (CP) - The Crown says a Montreal man's refusal to grant his Muslim wife a Shariah divorce should be considered an aggravating factor when he is sentenced Friday for stabbing her and their baby daughter. Other than that, there is nothing the courts can do for the woman, whose husband pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault to avoid attempted murder charges. That, say advocates, is the problem with the refusal to recognize Shariah law in the Canadian judicial system.

Muslim protests, as Madhya Pradesh students salute Sun God
Bhopal/Indore, Jan 25 (ANI): Thousands of school children did the Surya Namaskar, a salutation to the Sun God, in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday amid protests by Muslim organisations. Undeterred by the protests, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced, ""We are going to include Yoga in the physical training curriculum in schools as it keeps both mind and body healthy. We'll help all the organisations that are working towards the promotion of yoga and also take their help in popularizing it in schools. We'll also award those who do exceptionally well in this field." Several Muslim organisations, however, protested the move, saying it was essentially a form of sun worship, something against the tenets of Islam. "By implementing Surya Namaskar, the government is trying to promote one particular religion. Other religions are being ignored. We are demonstrating to register our protest, " said Arif Masood, a protester.

Leading Arab American and Muslim American Advocacy Organizations Take Action Over ABC's Decision to Hire Glenn Beck
WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Three leading Arab and Muslim American advocacy organizations have joined together to take action and voice their opposition over the decision of ABC's "Good Morning America" to hire Glenn Beck. The executive leadership of the Arab American Institute (AAI), American- Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) sent a letter to ABC/Disney expressing dismay and requesting a meeting to discuss their concerns. They have also each launched membership action campaigns, through which supporters have been calling and emailing ABC News to express dismay over "Good Morning America's" decision. During his tenure at CNN Headline News and as a talk-radio host, Beck has demonstrated an obvious anti-Arab and anti-Muslim prejudice in his broadcasts through threats and blatantly inaccurate statements. "[Glenn Beck's] addition to 'Good Morning America' would disseminate is prejudiced, openly-hostile and ignorant commentary to an even broader national audience, and diminish the credibility of your reputable and highly-rated news show," said the organizations' letter to ABC/Disney. "To provide a platform for his hateful speech is dangerous and irresponsible, and we strongly and urgently implore you to reconsider this move."

Muslim fans seek space for prayer
EVANSTON,IL– Devout Muslim fans at Northwestern University are asking the authorities to set aside a secluded space for the prayers or to grant them permission to come and go from the arena before the buzzer. Currently, the students try to play below the bleachers even as the game continues. School authorities say that while they value diversity, they are not yet ready to make an exception for the Muslim fans. The school’s athletic director will meet with Muslim student leaders to sort out the issue. Ruediger Seesemann, an associate professor of Islamic studies at Northwestern, said academic institutions have a responsibility to encourage spiritual formation. “These Muslim students want to integrate their Muslim identity with their identity as college students,” he said. “Why not let them bring their prayer rugs, let them pray and let them enjoy the basketball game?”

But there is hope for us infidels who want action taken against creeping Shariah law and it may start in Quebec.

The Quebec village of Hérouxville, 1300 inhabitants, has formally banned this week the stoning of women, face veils, female genital mutilation, or throwing acid at unveiled women's faces, reports Montreal daily La Presse. The nature of the Hérouxville bans suggests however that local politicians had Quebec Muslims in mind, though not a single Muslim or member of any religious or ethnic minority calls Hérouxville home. But referring to Quebec's policy of encouraging immigrants to settle outside Montreal, Drouin says it was important to inform potential immigrants of the villages cultural norms: "We must ensure that people who come here want to live as we do", he told La Presse, "The Muslims who wanted to impose Sharia, had they known that we do not stone women here, maybe they would not have come". Along with the bans, the Hérouxville document states that Christmas trees are a Quebec tradition, that swimming pools are mixed, and that pork meat and beef are displayed on the same shelves. Asked whether he fears being labeled a racist, Drouin answers: "We are not racists, we are explaining our culture".

So what’s new in our most Muslim of US cities? Debbie Schlussel reports on a financial jihad scheme in Dearbornistan.

When I first heard news reports in the Detroit media that an area man was caught with $240,000 worth of counterfeit Nikes, I figured the man must be a Muslim and wondered whether the media would mention his name. It's well known that counterfeit items--especially counterfeit cigarettes, rolling papers, and apparel--fund terrorism. In the Detroit area, the counterfeit items--including designer perfumes, viagra, and batteries--have been traced to Hezbollah funding schemes. But they also are linked to funds for HAMAS and Al-Qaeda.

Nike is enraged that such a thing is happening with their product. Right? Nope, the little dhimmis are fooled again.

BTW, even though Muslims frequently counterfeit Nike products for terrorism financing, that hasn't stopped Nike from providing free Nike T-shirts to CAIR. It's a practice that began long ago when the group whined that a Nike design on a shoe looked like the Arabic for "Allah." It's been free Ts to CAIR from the Beaverton, Oregon shoe and apparel giant, ever since.

CAIR protests when a woman is asked to lower her veil at Heathrow airport the day before it is revealed that a Muslim cop-killer escaped through the airport using the veil as a disguise (CAIR then stays quiet as Heathrow implements a full ban on veils.)

Maybe these ol’ acquaintances should NOT be forgotten.

Winds of War: Economic & Financial Jihad

I’ve been writing that militant jihad, or terrorism, is but only one type of jihad that the Islamists are using against the non-Muslim world. The others are:

· Cultural jihad

· Demographic jihad

· Litigation jihad

· Institutional jihad

· Media jihad.

· Thugery jihad

· Criminal jihad

Many of these types of jihads use the weapon of choice for overthrowing and dominating a non-Muslim society – the imposition of Shariah law. The Plan involves the incremental acceptance of basic tenants of Shariah law as applied to all aspects of life—the Islamic “Way of Life”. This implies the desire to incrementally change the laws and ultimately the Constitution of the U.S.

Economic and Financial Jihad are two very powerful jihads in the quiver of the Islamists. It goes with saying that the oil weapon hangs like a sword over the non-Muslim world and can be dropped on us at any time or place of their choosing to cause economic panic in the free world. But there is another form of economic and financial jihad – banking.

Islamic Economics is the stealth sword of Islam. It is more powerful than the Weapons of Mass Destruction and terrorism. It is immune to negotiation. The stealth sword is being applied for the Islamization of the West and the whole world. Islamic economics has an impact on your life, whether you are a banker, investing in the stock market, selling a home, buying a car, purchasing food, buying a suit or a dress, or just trying to make sense of the current events. Islamic economics and Islamic banking are primary Islamist strategies to condition the West to accept Shariah law as a basis for all life in all nations. Many, if not most, of the participants in Islamic Financing may not even be aware that they may be supporting the Islamist agenda.

So just what is Islamic economics?

The twentieth century has witnessed the emergence of an economic doctrine that calls itself Islamic economics. The doctrine is significant because it advances the sprawling and headline-grabbing movement known as political Islam, Islamic fundamentalism, or simply Islamism. The movement is having a profound impact. The Islamic windows of major banks that incorporate the principles of Islamic economics represent the fastest growing sector. The banks, based on the principles of Islamic economics, raise billions of dollars in the form of Islamic bonds (sukuk) annually. Banking laws in Islamic and Western countries are changing to accommodate Islamic economic rules. The Dow Jones Islamic Stock Index and in April 2006, Dow Jones and Citigroup announced the launch of the first Islamic Bond Index. The Dow Jones Citigroup Sukuk Index, the first index that seeks to measure the performance of global bonds complying with Islamic (Shariah compliant) investment guidelines.

The declared purpose of Islamic economics is to identify and establish an economic order that conforms to Islamic scripture and traditions – Shariah law.

Islamic law on commerce is known as fiqh al-mu`amalat. Much of the laws, rules and interpretations of Shariah takes into consideration issues of social justice, equitability, and fairness, as well as practicality of financial transactions. In general, the Shariah legal maxim in relation to commercial transactions and contracts states: “They are permissible unless there is a clear prohibition.” In a nutshell, prohibited elements of a commercial transaction must first be removed for it to be Shariah-compliant. The major prohibited elements under Shariah are riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), maisir (gambling), non-halal (prohibited) food and drinks and immoral activities.

The stealth sword of Islamic economics, like all the other non-violent jihadist methods, works silently and relentlessly below the surface undermining our society and unrecognized by both Democrats and Republicans.

Enemy Mine: Our Societal Weakness is Our Enemy’s Strength

There’s been much talk of Mark Steyn’s new book America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It and his warning of the use of demographic jihad against the non-Muslim world. But there is another warning he gives in his book that has gone, so far, unnoticed – at least until now.

Charles Colson reviews another side of Steyn’e book not widely reported – what we have lost by what we have gained from becoming too much of a secular society.

As Steyn sees it, one major reason the Islamo-fascists hate us is not that our beliefs are inimical to theirs, but that more and more of us believe in nothing at all beyond self-indulgence. And they look down on us for this but they are also learning how to use it to their advantage. Observing the rapid growth of radical Islam in Europe, Steyn writes, "If you're a teenager in most European cities these days, you've a choice between two competing identities-a robust confident Islamic identity or a tentative post-nationalist cringingly apologetic European identity.” Radical Islam is not luring Europeans away from a solid belief system; it's providing many of them with the first real belief system they have ever had. It's filling a void for people who have nothing else to believe in or hold on to.

Steyn says that Secularists in Europe - and in America as well - do not understand this.

"One reason why the developed world has a difficult job grappling with the Islamist threat is that it doesn't take religion seriously. It condescends to it." That condescension makes secularists unable to see what's going on right under their noses. It's similar to the situation that's been going on in our prisons for years now, which I've talked about several times on "BreakPoint." Prisoners all share one thing: a need for something to fill the emptiness in their lives. We have seen this in the thousands of prisons we work in. Radical Islamists know this, and they have made a point of targeting prisoners for conversion. Their brand of religion offers people that sense of belonging, of something worth living and dying for, that people need - the very thing that postmodern secular societies do not offer. And that's a big part of what makes radical Islam so dangerous.

As Steyn put it in a recent interview for our "BreakPoint" website, "Islam is a weak enemy, and its strength is determined by what it's pushing against." The problem is that Europe and, increasingly, America are putting up very little resistance.

Islam feels threatened by Western culture and believes with all its heart that the society it sees is decadent, immoral, even depraved and corrupt and a threat to its very survival. And they are correct. America is a threat to their culture but it’s not the conservative, capitalist right that is to blame, but the Left itself. What the left defends is what Muslims decry. The Grand Mufti of Australia, most known for his “uncovered meat” remarks, can not be chided for his depth of scholarship in theological doctrines of Islam. This was proven correct in the backdrop of the controversy, when the overwhelming majority of the Australian Muslims tendered their unstinted support to the beleaguered Mufti. Muslims sent him van-loads of flowers in congratulation and an unprecedented 5000 worshippers had rushed to his mosque in Sydney to attend the next Friday's congregational prayer, where they greeted him 'like a rock star'. This was followed by 34 major Muslim organizations' petition in the support of the honorable Mufti [Herald Sun, 03 Nov, 2006].

If we don’t stand up for our Judeo-Christian mores and morals, the secularists will stand up for nothing except ‘do your own thing’, ‘I’m OK, you’re OK’, ‘all cultures are equal’, there is no such thing as black and white, good and evil – only shades of grey. That is, if you believe in everything, you believe in nothing. If we believe all things are relative and equal and that personal rights prevails over personal responsibilities, then we are ripe for an aggressive absolutist ideology to overwhelm us.

The greatest offense against an aggressive absolutist ideology like Islam is a strong, absolute belief in our Judeo-Christian culture.

Storm Track Appeasement: Rhode Island a CAIR Convert?

CAIR is at it again. Instead of helping project this county against terrorists who would harm Muslims and non-Muslims alike, they are proposing to tie the hands of law enforcement even further. The CAIR-promoted ERPA federal legislation would generally prevent police from inquiring about someone's immigration status or demanding documentation.

Now the legislative appeasers in Rhode Island are getting into the act.

PROVIDENCE -- Police would be prohibited from asking passengers of a car for identification after a traffic stop unless criminal activity is suspected, under an antiracial-profiling bill announced by state legislators yesterday. The bill also would require police to document in writing their grounds for searching a vehicle and would bar officers from asking about immigration status, except in certain circumstances. "This legislation is aimed at taking the bias out of traffic stops by creating standards for every officer in the state to follow," said Representative Joseph Almeida, a retired Providence police officer who is filing the bill along with Senator Rhoda Perry.

And here’s the proponents’ rational for the bill.

They said the legislation was in response to incidents last summer and fall they contend were racially motivated. In July, a state trooper stopped a van carrying Guatemalan nationals on Interstate 95 and temporarily detained the vehicle. The van, initially pulled over for failing to use a turn signal when switching lanes, was escorted to a federal immigration office in Providence after the driver and passengers were unable to show proof of their US citizenship. The new legislation would prohibit authorities from using a minor traffic violation as a pretext for stopping a vehicle for other reasons.

Storm Track Intimidation: Don’t Say I’m Violent Because I’ll Attack You

Denmark has several organizations working to stop the Islamists. One of the newest and most active is the SIAD, which roughly translates in English to “Stop the Islamification of Denmark.” SIAD is made up of ordinary Danes with a peaceful and democratic message to all. Yet the Danish Minister for Justice, Lene Espersen, is denying them the right to publicly and peacefully go out and demonstrate, for fear that they will “create a public disorder” by being attacked by Islamist and leftwing groups.

Yes, you read that right. SIAD is prohibited from peacefully demonstrating because it will cause a violent reaction from others.

Espersen has declared “emergency laws” against SIAD, since courts have upheld their right to protest. On January 13, a peaceful SIAD meeting (not a protest) was broken up by Islamist and leftist gangs. Three SIAD members were hurt. What on earth is going on in Denmark? You can’t voice your opinion peacefully because it will promote violence from a group that you are saying is violent.

Has Danish cheese given Danes mush for brains?

And what about Canada? They too seem to be going over the deep end. Free speech is now a ‘Hate Crime’ in Canada.

An ex-terrorist, now converted to Christianity, tries to speak against violence in Islam in a neighborhood church – and is silenced by pressure from the mainstream media and local Islamist organizations, and may be prosecuted for a “hate crime.” Lebanon-native Zachariah Anani was a self-admitted terrorist before converting to Christianity. His first lecture given on January 11 at the small Campbell Baptist Church in Windsor, Canada stated that Islamic doctrine advocates violence against non-believers, especially Christians and Jews.

Anani’s second lecture, “Could Jihad Be Coming to Your Neighborhood?” was cancelled after pressure from the media, which also focused on Anani’s citizenship and harsh criticism of the sponsor of the lectures, Pastor Donald McKay. McKay spoke instead to a capacity crowd, speaking in defense of Canadian liberties and freedoms and promising to "jealously guard these things from being overtaken, from being overthrown."

On January 25, Anani is scheduled to give the third speech in the series, “Why the Islamic Faith is Indefensible.” But he may not get a chance. Members of the Windsor Islamic Association have filed a formal complaint with the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has sent letters to Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant asking for a prompt investigation into Anani's lectures under Canada's hate crimes legislation.

Support Pastor McKay and Zachariah Anani in their efforts to speak the truth. Write to Attorney General Michael Bryant, asking for him to NOT cave in to CAIR-CAN's oppressive intentions. And you might drop a line to Pastor McKay telling him of your support for his brave stand for human rights and freedom of speech.

Storm Track Infiltration: British Intelligence or Keystone Cops

Associated press reported that a third terror suspect absconds in Britain.

A terror suspect under police surveillance has disappeared, Britain's top law-and-order official said on Tuesday. The suspect was being monitored under the so-called control order regime, British Home Secretary John Reid said in a written statement to parliamentarians. Under the program, suspects who have not been charged are released from custody but remain under observation and can be electronically tagged, kept under curfew, denied the use of telephones or the Internet, and prohibited from meeting outsiders.

I guess state-of –the-art surveillance technology is not one of Britain’s string suits these days.

The suspect, whose identity is protected by an anonymity order, absconded earlier this month, Reid said. The man was the third terror suspect to disappear while being monitored under the control order.

Reid's announcement came as the government faced criticism for another Keystone Cop blunder.

On Sunday, the government said it was ordering a review of all criminal databases after acknowledging that files on hundreds of criminals were not entered into police computers. The government insists the mistake -- caused by a backlog in processing EU records at Britain's Criminal Records Bureau -- did not lead to any violent or sexual offenders being cleared to work with vulnerable people, such as children.

Right. They just don’t know where they are.

Reid took over at the Home Office in May after former Home Secretary Charles Clarke's dismissal when it was revealed that foreign criminals were released from prisons without being considered for deportation.

So, did it get better?

On Tuesday, David Davis of the opposition Conservative Party, said: "Far from getting a grip since John Reid took over, the Home Office has been marked by murderers walking out of open prisons and suspected terrorists escaping from control orders."

So goes the state of Britain today.

Storm Track Disinformation: Muslims – Soul Searching or Mental Illness?

At a recent debate over the battle for Islamic ideals in England, a British-born Muslim stood before the crowd and said Prophet Mohammed's message to nonbelievers is: "I come to slaughter all of you. We are the Muslims," said Omar Brooks, an extremist also known as Abu Izzadeen. "We drink the blood of the enemy, and we can face them anywhere. That is Islam and that is jihad."

But in the same debate, held on the prestigious grounds of Dublin's Trinity College in October, many people in the crowd objected. One dissenter said: "These people, ladies and gentleman, have a good look at them. They actually believe if you kill women and children, you will go to heaven," said one young Muslim who waved his finger at the radicals.

"This is not ideology,” one young Muslim man said waving his finger at the radicals. “It's a mental illness."

But a Michael van der Galien at the Moderate Voice took issue with that dissenting opinion.

Sadly, it is not an ‘mental illness’ at all and calling it like that denies the very real danger this ideology poses to non-extremist Muslims and to non-Muslims. It is not a mental illness, it is a very dangerous ideology, that appeals to quite some young Muslims for different reasons....There is a battle going on for the soul of Islam (in Europe), so much is clear.

Well, Mr. van der Galien, I disagree. That battle over Islam today is not over its soul – but its mind.

I’ve written quite about Islam and mental illness. The struggle between the Islamists and those moderate Muslims of Islam is not over Islam’s soul – but over its mind.

Here’s just one sign of why I think Islam is a mental illness and produces bizarre perceived offences. A Muslim Indonesian group attacked a century-old ‘mystical’ tree to propagate Islam.

Muslim hardliners chopped up a 100-year-old banyan tree in Jakarta to halt a rumor about its special powers from spreading, officials in the Indonesian city said Tuesday. "Surely, no one can believe that a tree is more powerful than a human," Zainal Arifin, the leader of the Muslim group that admits to attacking the tree, was quoted as saying by Detik.com news website. "We did this to propagate Islam."… Arifin said the fact that nothing supernatural happened to the Muslims who attacked the tree proves that it has no mystical powers.

So they had to cut down the tree to prove it?

Here’s another. This time from the mouth of Muslim psychiatrist.

Palestinian psychiatrist Iyad Al-Sarraj, cited in a recent Reuters report entitled "Palestinians find ready supply of suicide bombers," said both religion and the humiliation of life under occupation were the key motives for suicide bombers bent on starting a better life in paradise.

"It is no wonder that some people are doing it. We should wonder why everyone isn't doing it," Sarraj said.

In an interview with Gulf News, former chief of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India's intelligence dealing with external security, says that there is a need to understand the Muslim mind, and engage in a constant dialogue with the community.

“Contemporary jihad is not a matter of politics at all (of ‘occupation, of ‘grievances,’ of colonialism, neocolonialism, imperialism and Zionism), but a matter of Gnostic faith. Consequently, attempts at dealing with the problem politically will not even touch it. Aspirin is good, and so is penicillin, but they are of little avail to counter maladies of the mind. I am emphatically not saying here that the jihadis are “crazy.” I am saying that they are possessed of a disease of the mind, and the disease is the political religion of modern Gnosticism in its Islamic version.”

Again, Islam for the Islamists is a form of mental illness and the current struggle in Islam is not so much a battle over its soul than a battle over its mind.

Here’s another sign of why I think Islam is a mental illness and clouds a Muslim’s better judgment. Dhimmi Watch reports that mullahs tell aid groups in Pakistan to fire women or "face violent protests"

“Muslim clerics in earthquake-hit Azad Kashmir have told aid agencies to fire all local women employees or face violent protests, officials and religious leaders said on Thursday.”We have told the administration that we will not allow NGOs to exploit our women and asked them to give a date suitable to them for removal of all female workers," Syed Atta Ullah Shah, prayer leader of the Bagh central mosque, told Agence France Presse.”

These women are there to help the Muslim victims but it seems the non-Muslim female aid workers are a ‘bad influence’ on the saintly Muslim women in the earthquake devastated region that the non-Muslim women are there to help. The mullahs are afraid that some female infidel behaviors like wearing normal clothing, makeup and showing a bit of skin might rub off on their pious women.

Here’s another.

A British Muslim declared: "I’m going to bring this country down" over Allah ice cream. Harper's Magazine recently posted "I'm Hatin' It," a September 2005 interview with Rashad Akhtar, "a twenty-seven-year-old British Muslim, who alleges that the graphic used on the lid of Burger King ice-cream cones resembles the Arabic spelling of 'Allah.'"

And called it the “defining moment of his life”.

“I feel humiliated. I want to humiliate the person who did this to an extent that he never works again. I’m going to make him see that it was the biggest mistake in his life. I want to meet the guy. I want to ask the guy, “What does this mean to you?” then never see his face again.”

Now add these to the growing struggle over the mind of Islam.

• Resistance to polio shots.
• Muslim cabbies refusing to carry passengers with Seeing Eye dogs.
• UK Muslim hospital workers refuse to wash their hands.

Isn’t it obvious, Mr. van der Galien that the battle over Islam is not a problem with its soul, but with its mind?

Let’s get clinical.

Are Muslims mentally ill? Or perhaps the very beliefs of their religion makes them so?

Consider this. You’re a psychiatrist speaking with a Muslim. The Muslim claims:

1. He is compelled to repeat the same action every day
2. He overacts to criticism, no matter how minor
3. He thinks everyone hates him

If you were that psychiatrist you would immediately put him on drugs because he was showing signs of obsessive-compulsive behavior, paranoia, and a persecution complex.

Now, let’s look at these metal illnesses as they apply to the practitioners of Islam.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

Muslims: Are compelled to pray 5 times a day, everyday, for the rest of their lives.

Paranoia is the belief that others are exploiting, or deceiving them, that others may not be loyal or trustworthy, believes there are threats or attacks on their character, bears persistent grudges, sees others as having malevolent intentions toward them, and has a constant habit of blaming others for their problems.

Muslims: The West is waging a Crusade against Islam and they are the cause of their self-made problems.

Persecution complex is when someone is convinced of the validity of their delusions and cannot tolerate criticism of their ideas. Questioning of their beliefs, no matter how trivial, is met with evasiveness, defensiveness, irritability, and hostility.

Muslims: From the triviality of the Mohammed cartoons to books by authors like Robert Spencer, just to list a few, a Muslim’s response is to claim persecution.

The followers of Islam are Schizophrenic. And like schizophrenics, they are not aware of it.

Let’s first look at the definition of Schizophrenia and then just two recent news items that prove my point. A composite definition would include this.

• People with schizophrenia show grossly disorganized behavior. Symptoms include hallucinations like hearing voices or seeing visions (it’s a faith based belief system like any religion), delusions (false beliefs about commonly held views of reality – the Mohammed cartoon controversy and Muslim response) and bizarre thought patterns. Schizophrenia is accompanied by marked impairment in social or occupational functioning (Islamic states can not function well in the 21st century), extensive withdrawal from other people and the outside world and the investment of it in his own (Islamic fanaticism in its beliefs) - a form of psychosis.

Here are two news items from Google News that supports my point of the Muslim world’s schizophrenic disorganized behavior.

Islam has nothing to do with terrorism: British delegation
A delegation of prominent British Muslims (read intelectuals), currently visiting India, Thursday said that Islam had nothing to do with terrorism and acts of violence by some individuals could not be termed ‘Islamic terrorism’.

Muslim 'Intellectual' Says Arab Elite Must Die
Sa'id ibn Nasser Al-Ghamdi wrote "deviation from the Faith as Reflected in Arab Thought and Literature on Modernity as a three-volume publication based on Al-Ghamdi’s doctoral dissertation. It is gaining popularity within the Muslims world. The author names over 200 "modern Arab intellectuals and authors whom he accuses of heresy—thus making it permissible to kill them.

We are dealing here with a very sick puppy. To repeat - the struggle inside Islam today is not over its soul – but its mind.

Storm Track Intimidation: Muslim Sues To Use Quran For Court Oath

Corruption Chronicles, a judicial Watch blog, reported another incident of Muslims waging their non-violent jihad in America - in this case, litigation jihad.

A North Carolina appeals court has reversed a trial judge's decision to dismiss a Muslim woman's lawsuit demanding the Quran be used for courtroom oaths. The woman, Syidah Mateen, initially filed the lawsuit in 2005 because she was denied placing her hand on the Quran as a witness in a trial.

State law allows witnesses preparing to testify in court to take their oath by laying a hand on the Holy Bible, by saying "so help me God" without the use of a religious book or with an affirmation using no religious symbols. The options led a trial judge to dismiss the suit, determining that there was no actual controversy warranting litigation since the woman was not forced to use the Bible.

Enter the Islamist’s ‘useful idiots’ (the ACLU) and our good friends at CAIR.

But this week, a three-judge appellate court panel unanimously reversed that decision, allowing the lawsuit to continue. The judges wrote that the complaint was sufficient to entitle litigation and the state must now waste taxpayer dollars to defend the case. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), well-known for its support of terrorism worldwide, also joined the case by demanding a statewide policy permitting use of the Quran and other religious texts in courtrooms.

Another example of creeping Sharia law in our culture.

A Muslim center in Greensboro is also involved because its offer to donate copies of the Quran to Guilford County's two courthouses was declined by judges who said an oath on the Quran is not a legal oath under state law. Additionally, a group of North Carolina religious leaders sent a letter to one of the county judges who said an oath on the Quran was not lawful.

Add this example of creeping Sharia law to the Ellison controversy, and you have the useful idiots claiming another victory for our ‘open’ multicultural society.

And yes, that’s Pelosi smiling as she puts her hand on the Koran with Ellison. Notice Ellison’s face. I wonder what Ellison is thinking?

Now, a new book by Steven Emerson, Jihad Incorporated: A Guide to Militant Islam in the U.S.” puts some muscle and flesh to the bones of this theory. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch reviews the book.

Are you aware of the al Qaeda plot to assassinate President Bush that was uncovered in 2005? Did you know that jihad terrorists in the U.S. financed the 1993 World Trade Center bombing partially through the sale of counterfeit T-shirts? Did you know that a professor at the University of South Florida in the 1990s was one of the international leaders of the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad and that he used his university activities as a cover while he raised money, gained recruits and disseminated propaganda for the jihad group? Had you heard that in May 2003, an American citizen living in Ohio pled guilty to conducting surveillance of the Brooklyn Bridge and other potential targets for al Qaeda?

These were not isolated incidents. In fact, they are just a few of the known activities of a huge jihad network that still operates in the United States, but of which few Americans are aware……..in his book [he] lays out evidence that jihadists are pursuing their goal of Islamic supremacism in myriad ways in America today, including through “advocacy groups, an array of disingenuous charities and foundations, corporate financing networks, and the halls of academia.” He and the staffers of his Investigative Project on Terrorism explain how al Qaeda continues to operate on our soil even after 9/11, how its operational strategy has evolved since then, and the extent of its American network.

Spencer knows his stuff.

But al Qaeda, of course, is not the only jihad organization operating on American soil today. Emerson explores the activities of many of them, including their actions within American mosques, their operations through charitable organizations and through the Internet and their involvement in money-laundering activities that allow terror financing to continue virtually unimpeded. At the same time, [Emerson] chronicles how American Muslim advocacy groups in Washington have worked to impede law enforcement endeavors against these operations at virtually every step—raising questions about their own larger goals. And of course, these advocacy groups have benefited from friends in high places. “Homegrown plotters, sleeper cells, intolerant and hateful imams, and their domestic apologists,” Emerson explains, “all seek to undermine the foundations of this country through a variety of means: rhetoric, fund-raising, and violence.

This is just what I’ve been saying. We’re so focused on the misnamed ‘war on terror’ that we are missing the more insidious jihadist tactics - the gathering storm of squalls, gales and tempests - that are less visible and less understood being practiced right under our noses.

Every anti-jihadist should read this book. I will.

Winds of War: How the War Against Islamism Will Last 70 Years – And They Win

UK Home Secretary John Reid, Newt Gingrich, and the Pentagon have all chimed in over the last few months stating that the misnamed ‘war on terror’ will last a generation or so. To quote Gingrich:

Americans must steel themselves for a long and arduous war against the "irreconcilable wing of Islam," which could last anywhere from 30 to 70 years.

A wing? Were the Japanese pilots who bombed Pearl Harbor a ‘wing’ of the Shinto religion? Were the SS a ‘wing’ of a benign National Socialist Party?

Mr. Gingrich, if this struggle between a freedom loving ideology and that of the Islamist ideology lasts 70 years without an outbreak of a global war, the Islamists will have won.

Here’s why.

What if Pearl Harbor didn’t happen? And what if Hitler didn’t invade Poland and Mussolini didn’t invade Ethiopia? That is to say, what if the fascist regimes of Japan, Germany and Italy restrained themselves for starting a hot war and didn’t reach for the gun – i.e., putting boots on the ground in other countries to impose their ideology - to advance their agenda of world domination? How would history have turned out? Would the fascist ideology have won?

The fascist regimes were making great strides achieving their goals before 1939. Hitler was handed half of Europe by the appeasers. Japan was winning its war with China. Mussolini was intimidating North Africa and with the help of Hitler, drawing up plans to have the Mufti of Jerusalem start a rebellion against British and French rule. Japan, undermined the control of Dutch and French colonialists in the region. How? Guess what. With the help of Muslims.

Most people at the turn of the twenty-first century have forgotten that there was a time in Japan before World War II when Japanese nationalists showed an Asianist face to the world's Muslims, whom they wanted to befriend as allies in the construction of a new Asia under Japanese domination. The rise of Japan was a destabilizing factor that attracted Muslim activists who wanted to cooperate with the "Rising Star of the East" against the Western empires, accelerating contacts between Japan and the world of Islam from vast regions of Eurasia and North Africa.

Add the lure of the Greater Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere and you have the makings of an infiltration strategy that played on the desires of those under colonial rule and side with the Japanese and their goals. Both the Germans and the Japanese played both sides against the middle when planning the strangulation the democracies.

As we know, appeasement of Hitler and his demands was the order of the day before the outbreak of war in Europe. Hitler’s National Socialism had a strong admires in Britain.

Lord Halifax records how he told Hitler: "Although there was much in the Nazi system that profoundly offended British opinion, I was not blind to what he (Hitler) had done for Germany, and to the achievement from his point of view of keeping Communism out of his country."

There was even support for Hitler’s ideas. One such group consisted of the Duke of Windsor (the former King Edward VIII) and appeasement-minded elitists known as the "Cliveden Set." The Nazis had longstanding social ties with this group and confided in them.

It has long been widely accepted that this aristocratic Germanophile social network was not only in favour of the appeasement of Adolf Hitler but also in favour of friendly relations with Nazi Germany .

This support for Nazism in Europe was widespread, sweeping across the European continent from Britain, Ireland, France, the Low Countries, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe right into Russia itself. Of the more famous pro-National Socialist movements with large followings the British Union of Fascists and National Socialists, the Francistes in France, the Rexist party in Belgium, the Dutch National Socialist Bund, the Iron Guard in Romania and the Russian National Liberation Army, amongst others.

One might say of Europe, that even the shameless bigotry towards Jews was not enough to sway Nazi supporters against Hitler in the democratic counties of Europe. This weakened the moral and political resolve of the democracies who feared another war like WW I and didn’t want to see it repeated – at any cost.

The US at the time was no different. The use of the ‘peace moments’ in this county like the America First Committee and the lure of the American Bund Party to German-Americans sought to undermine efforts of FDR to oppose Hitler and Japan’s expansion policies and act as infiltration agents for the Nazis. Add the strong Nazi presence – and growing support - in South America and you find the US isolated within the womb of its self-imposed neutrality.

A political collapse of mainland Europe already weakened by political and economic strife, a real non-aggression pact with Russia in keeping with Karl Haushofer a "Eurasist" who advocated a policy of German - Russian hegemony and alliance, the slow absorption of Britain into the Nazi fold, rebellions instigated by Hitler and Mussolini in the middle east (read control of oil), Japan’s political success of their Greater Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere and their support of anti-colonial nationalist groups in the sub-continent – all would have exploited the playing filed tilted in the favor of the fascist regimes. If they exercised some patience (a generation or so?) they could have dominated the world without reaching for the gun?

Now fast forward to today.

The very same strategy of infiltration and appeasement is being employed now by the Islamists and their useful idiots. Using the many types of Jihads at their disposal – militant, institutional, cultural, media, demographic and litigation Jihads – they could reach their goals of an Islamic dominated world in a generation or so while the non-Muslim countries have their tunnel vision firmly focused on the most obvious jihad – terrorism, or the militant Jihad – and forgetting the more insidious and successful non-violent Jihads.

Europe is fast becoming Eurabia. The once multi-faith Far East is radicalizing. Iran is making inroads in South America by invitation of the buffoon Chavez - and the US is confused and dazed by the apologists and appeasers and the increasing onslaught of Islamism under the protection of political correctness and multiculturalism.

The Islamists could win without putting boots on the ground and forcibly imposing their ideology on the world. The question is - will Islam, out of impatience or over confidence, reach for the gun?

Storm Track Infiltration: American Children – Next Terrorist Target?

JR over at A Keyboard and a .45 recently wrote a chilling post. He speculated on some worrisome information and events that could lead to mass slaughter in our schools by terrorists.

Consider these points:

• According to two trainers at an anti-terrorism conference on the East Coast, preparations for attacks on American schools that will bring rivers of blood and staggering body counts are well underway in Islamic terrorist camps.
• The intended attackers have bluntly warned us they’re going to do it.
• They’re already begun testing school-related targets here.
• They’ve given us a catastrophic model to train against, which we’ve largely ignored and they’ve learned more deadly tactics from.

According to an article from PoliceOne.com, “We don’t know for sure what they will do. But by definition, a successful attack is one we are not ready for,” declared one of the instructors, Lt.Col. Dave Grossman. Our schools fit that description to a “T”—as in Terrorism and Threat.”

How do we know that the terrorist are targeting our schools? Todd Rassa, a trainer with the SigArms Academy and an advisory board member for The Police Marksman magazine, shared a full day’s agenda on the danger to U.S. schools at a recent three-day conference on terrorist issues, sponsored by the International Assn. of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) in Atlantic City.

Al-Qaeda has publicly asserted the “right” to kill 2,000,000 American children, Rassa explained, and has warned that “operations are in stages of preparation” now. He played vivid videotapes confiscated in Afghanistan, showing al-Qaeda terrorists practicing the takeover of a school. The trainees issue commands in English, rehearse separating youngsters into manageable groups and meeting any resistance with violence. Some “hostages” are taken to the rooftop, dangled over the edge, then “shot.”

In this country this year [’06], Rassa said, there have been several school bus-related incidents involving Middle Eastern males that raise suspicion of terrorist activity. These include the surprise boarding of a school bus in Florida by two men in trench coats, who may have been on a canvassing mission, and the attempt in New York State by an Arab male to obtain a job as a school bus driver using fraudulent Social Security documents. The latter gave an address in Detroit, home to a large colony of fundamentalist Muslims. Rassa claimed that floor plans for half a dozen schools in Virginia, Texas and New Jersey have been recovered from terrorist hands in Iraq.

A “dress rehearsal for what terrorists plan to do to us” has already taken place, Rassa and Grossman agreed. That was the brutal takedown in 2004 of a school that served children from 6 to 17 years old in Beslan, Russia. Some 100 terrorists were involved, nearly half of whom were discreetly embedded in the large crowd of parents, staff and kids who showed up for the first day of school; the rest arrived for the surprise attack in SUVs, troop carriers and big sedans. Across a three-day siege, 700 people were wounded and 338 killed, including 172 youngsters.

What is the likely means of attack upon a school in the United States?

Probably not so many terrorists involved at a single location. Moving that big a contingent into place would likely attract too much attention and thwart the attack. Grossman describes a more likely possibility, in his opinion: Terrorist cells of four operatives each will strike simultaneously at four different schools. They’ll probably pick middle schools with no police officers on site, where the girls are “old enough to rape” but students are not big enough to fight back effectively.

The targets will probably be in states “with no concealed-carry laws and no hunting culture” and in communities where “police do not have rifles.” Rural areas may be favored, where 30 minutes or more could be required for responders to arrive in force.

The attackers will “mow down every kid and teacher they see” as they move in to seize the school. They’ll plant bombs throughout the buildings, and “ rape, murder and throw out bodies like they did in Russia.” Emergency vehicles responding and children fleeing will be blown up by car bombs in the parking lot.

In all, 100 to 300 children could be slaughtered in a first strike. Terrorists capable of this are already embedded in communities “all over America,” Grossman and Rassa agreed. More will probably gain entry surreptitiously from Mexico, making southern California potentially a prime target.
