If you throw a frog into boiling water, he will jump out. If you put it in cold water and slowly turn up the heat, he will not notice the rise in temperature and will eventually boil.

Abu Qatada is to receive almost £8,000 a year in benefits because he has a bad back.

The fanatical cleric, said to be Osama Bin Laden’s ambassador in Europe, will get £150 a week of taxpayer’s cash after being released from jail last week.

He was granted the incapacity benefit because his condition makes him unfit to work – even though a curfew allows him out of his home for only two hours a day, meaning it would be almost impossible for him to get a job.

Qatada left Long Lartin prison in Worcestershire after the Appeal Court blocked his deportation to Jordan.

He is now living in an £800,000 four-bedroom Edwardian semi in a tree-lined street in West London. His incapacity allowance will push the family’s total annual handouts to more than £50,000.

His wife has been claiming £45,000 a year in child benefit, income support, housing benefit and council tax credit for the past four years.

Steve Pound, Labour MP for Ealing North, which borders Qatada’s West London home, said: ‘This is adding insult to injury. He abuses us and bleeds us dry at the same time.

Qazi Hussein Ahmad has been banned from more than 25 countries across Europe and the Middle East for the activities of the Pakistani Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) organization that he heads. Terrorism analysts around the world have noted JEI’s close ties to al-Qaeda, and Qazi has publicly defended Osama bin Laden, admitting to meeting with him on several occasions and claiming that no definitive proof exists of bin Laden’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks.

In an October 2002 interview with Der Speigel Qazi went so far as to deny al-Qaeda’s existence altogether and defended his group’s support of the Taliban, saying that “they were just and honorable men, who brought peace to Afghanistan.”

The Islamists are boiling our frog and though this blog and hundreds like it record almost daily the rise in the Jihad temperature, unless we see how far and fast the temperature has risen, we will not know how far along our boiling has progressed. 

So, the Gathering Storm will be posting only once a week but these weekly posts will take the Jihadist temperature by looking back at news and events over the last two years. Over the next several weeks in the areas of intimidation, infiltration, disinformation and those appeasers and apologists who either knowingly or unknowingly advance the Jihad agenda, the Gathering Storm will show how far our frog has been boiled. 

By seeing the boiling water around us, we can see how far the boiling has progressed. 

The good news is that we are noticing that the water is getting warmer. There is a glimmer of awareness here - a glimmer of hope there. But we have a long way to go.

Storm Track Appeasement: Preaching Jihad is Hard on the Back

It must be quite a heavy load jihadist preachers must carry in their pursuit of destroying the infidel devil. It’s hard work and can, as in this case, create a disability.

No worries. The dhimmi UK government takes pity on such men and rushes to the rescue!

Bend over, Brits. This won’t hurt a bit. You’re only exercising your multicultural sensitivity.

While Mark Steyn is defending himself in the kangaroo court of the Human Rights Commission of Canada against hate speech, who did Canada extend a visa to? Qazi Hussein Ahmad, a Pakistani terror leader.

The good news is that it was eventually denied as a result of the public outcry and political pressure preventing him from speaking at the ISNA conference.

Yes. And Hitler brought peace to the streets of Germany and Stalin brought peace to Russia.

Storm Track Appeasement: The Last Year of the Pig?

China has joined the long sorry list of countries bending to the will of their Muslim minority. If you’ve ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant, you would be familiar with the Chinese calendar. The restaurants I ate at have the calendar right on the paper place mat.

The Chinese calendar is based on a twelve year cycle, each year being represented by an animal. 2005 was Year of Rooster. 2004 was Year of Monkey. 2003 was Year of Goat (sheep, ram). 2002 was Year of Horse.

This year was the year of the Pig. Muslims didn’t like that.

We may have seen the Year of the Pig fully celebrated in accordance with the Chinese calendar for the last time. References to pigs were banned in China’s television advertising in 2007, the official Year of the Pig, to prevent offending the Muslim population. In Taiwan citizens were put on notice about using ‘pig’ postage stamps for mailings to Muslim countries or recipients.

The appeasement, or accommodation as it’s called, has not been limited to China.

Janet Levy in FrontPageMagazine.com writes comprehensively of the multitudinous ways in which some Muslims are choosing to be offended, choosing to protest and how communities around the world are also choosing to accommodate this veritable plague of Muslim religious demands.

Piggy banks, those charming inducements that promote fiscally conservative children, are objects many of us remember very fondly. They have now been banned in the United Kingdom as marketing gifts by certain financial institutions. Pig calendars, toys and objects are increasingly disappearing from public offices and institutions. We are on our way to becoming a ‘pig free’ society (one is reminded of other, far more extreme attempts to cleanse society of its offending objects, including the burning of the incomparable Royal Library of Alexandria - the world’s largest - in the 1st millennium CE, Hitler’s 1930’s Juden-Rein vision for Europe, Pol Pot’s 1970s evisceration of Cambodian intellectuals and China’s effective decades-long dilution of Tibetan traditions and monasteries).

Target department stores have, in specific instances, allowed their Muslim check-out employees to excuse themselves when pork products are presented at their counters. Yet these same employees were well aware of Target’s product selection when they applied for their jobs.

This is such horse hockey. Jews and Hindus don’t seem to have problem with the pig issue. They’ve been living in pig land for centuries without any need by the non-Jew and non-Hindu societies for accommodation.

As I understand it, orthodox Jews, Hindus and vegetarians have little interest in pork products and many exclude pork from their daily diet with the same proficiency and commitment as do many Muslims. How come they operate checkouts at supermarkets, drive taxis, receive piggy banks as gifts and visit government offices replete with pig paraphernalia without protest? How have they managed for decades at our schools and universities without kosher and meatless cafeterias? Why are they not insulted by the many instances of references to the pigs in our multicultural society? Are they any less serious about their religion, any less observant and sincere in their beliefs?

It seems, in a kind of reverse idolatry, that the Islamists have imbued the pig, in all its physical and symbolic manifestations, with a kind of mystical evilness, a negative energy of boundless proportions. It’s not only the ingestion of the pig that is now at issue – it’s its very existence in any form, an inverse deity as it were from hell.

Storm Track Appeasement: From the UK - Now We Have Racist Toddlers

Just when you think political correctness can get n loopier, the UK pushes it up, or perhaps down, another notch. No it’ the toddlers that will have to watch their Ps and Qs to avoid insulting minorities.

Toddlers who turn their noses up at spicy food from overseas could be branded racists by a Government-sponsored agency.

 

The National Children's Bureau, which receives £12 million a year, mainly from Government funded organisations, has issued guidance to play leaders and nursery teachers advising them to be alert for racist incidents among youngsters in their care.

This could include a child of as young as three who says "yuk" in response to being served unfamiliar foreign food. The guidance by the NCB is designed to draw attention to potentially-racist attitudes in youngsters from a young age.

Yeah. Brainwash them when their too young to know better. Children no a ‘yuk’ when they see one.

It alerts playgroup leaders that even babies can not be ignored in the drive to root out prejudice as they can "recognise different people in their lives".

Could this get any nuttier? Jeeezz… come on!

The guide goes on to warn that children might also "react negatively to a culinary tradition other than their own by saying 'yuk'".

Unbelievable!

Nurseries are encouraged to report as many incidents as possible to their local council. The guide added: "Some people think that if a large number of racist incidents are reported, this will reflect badly on the institution. In fact, the opposite is the case."

No reflects on their STUPIDITY !!!

 

Storm Track Appeasement: BBC Kneels to the Islamofascists

Remember V for Vendetta? A futuristic tale that showed America at war with Islam round the world, Britain ruled by a Christian theocratic fascist state led by bishops and Cardinals that lusted after young boys and committed all kinds of acts of depravity? A movie that celebrated terrorism and showed Islam the victim of America and Western Civilization?

Yeah that one.

I particularly like the scene of the Christian who has a Koran hidden in his stately home and when asked why he has a Koran and he’s not a Muslim, he says something to the effect that you don’t have to be a Muslim or know Arabic to recognize the beauty and truth in something.

Anyone with a half a brain can see through the propaganda. But the BBC doesn’t even have that.

New TV Series Has ‘Extremist’ Christian Beheading ‘Moderate’ Muslims.

Last week, the BBC aired a new TV series titled “Bonekickers” touted as a “groundbreaking” show where “history comes alive,” and a series that is “Based in fact.” The premier episode, though features an odd thing if “fact” is the aim of the Beeb’s new TV series: a Christian beheading a Muslim. Yeah, THAT is really a “fact” based premise, isn’t it?

Of course, the few remaining Christians in Britain have found themselves a bit put out by this “fact based” show where it is a Christian beheading a Muslim instead of the other way ’round.

And it isn’t just a beheading, the entire episode turns our current “fact based” reality on its head as the plot gives us a group of “right wing Christians” bent on purging England of its immigrant population, a group the TV series is fictionalizing as the “White Wings Alliance.” In a day when extremist Muslims the world over are killing people for not being a Muslim, this show features the exact opposite situation. Christian “extremists” killing innocent, moderate Muslims. For what reason? Only the Beeb knows for sure.

Imagine if someone from another world saw the BBC bulls**t.

The whole premise is so ridiculous that Andrew Anthony of the Guardian newspaper said, “A Martian watching TV drama of late would probably conclude that the country is crawling with homicidal Islamophobes, desperate to kill those few Muslims who have not already been interned by the government or shot by the police.” In his droll way, of course, Anthony is saying that none of that is happening despite the outrageous plot line that appears in this “fact based” series.

The Independent’s reviewer was no kinder saying, “Murderous Christian fundamentalists, like the ones on Bonekickers, are frequently on TV, but their Islamic counterparts rarely make an appearance. Our TV controllers have a tendency to make like the three wise monkeys when it comes to Muslim extremism: hear no evil, see no evil, broadcast no evil.”

So much for “facts.”

So, lots of “extremist Christians” running about the countryside beheading moderate Muslims over there in England? There must be. After all, we did mention that this is a “fact based” series, didn’t we?

Speaking of bones, this appears to be another reason why the west hasn’t the backbone to stand up to Islamic extremism, doesn’t it?

Right on !!

 

Storm Track Appeasement: Quo Vadis? The Church of England

The Church of England is on its way our. It no longer has the courage to defend it values, principles and beliefs. What a sad state of affairs. Its leaders are well down the road to dhimmitude when the Archbishop of Canterbury says that “Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims”.

Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims, the Archbishop of Canterbury said yesterday.

Dr Rowan Williams also criticised Christianity's history for its violence, its use of harsh punishments and its betrayal of its peaceful principles.

His comments came in a highly conciliatory letter to Islamic leaders calling for an alliance between the two faiths for 'the common good'.

Conciliatory letter? You mean a letter of surrender!

He also said the Christian belief in the Trinity - that God is Father, Son and Holy Ghost at the same time - 'is difficult, sometimes offensive, to Muslims'.

Trinitarian doctrine conflicts with the Islamic view that there is just one all-powerful God.

Whao !! Wait just a minute ! Where did this jackass get his divinity degree? There are not three Gods in the Christian religion. There is only one God. The Christian God consists of 3 parts – the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

He told Muslim leaders that faith has no connection with political power or force, and that Christians have in the past betrayed this idea.

'Christianity has been promoted at the point of the sword and legally supported by extreme sanctions,' Dr Williams said.

What a flaming appeaser! Note one incident in modern history when Chris8nity was advanced by the sword. Now look at Islam. It happens every day.

Why is this man still holding an office in the Church?

 

Storm Track Appeasement: Leftards Gets It Wrong Again

What a loon. Sex Pistols singer Johnny Rotten decided to exercise his right to trash American – in Europe, of course.

Why do the have to go to Europe to trash America? Too cowardly to do here or do American celebrities have such a low opinion of their self-worth that they need the jeers of European leftist socialists to show them they are alive.

Unless of course, they are so stupid that forget what country they’re in.

Sex Pistols singer Johnny Rotten was booed by fans on the final night of EXIT Festival, after encouraging the crowd to "Praise Allah".

In a bizarre and misjudged gaff midway through their Sunday night set, the ageing rocker asked the crowd: “So who thinks America should still be in Iraq?”

The question was met by boos and jeers, prompting Rotten to wave his arms in mock Muslim prayer chanting, “Praise Allah, Praise Allah” repeatedly.

The main stage crowd were initially taken aback by the mystifying gesture, before boos began echoing around the crowd.

Dumb f**k. You’re in Serbia!

Realising his mistake, Rotten then changed his chanting to "Praise Serbia, Praise Serbia" before quickly launching into another song.

Storm Track Appeasement: Conspiracy? What Conspiracy?

Denmark has decided that there is no longer a need to study the Hizb ut-Tahrir's international terror connections and financing.

Danish Justice minister Lene Espersen rejects additional studies of Hizb ut-Tahrir's international connections and financing. This, after the prosecutor general concluded in June that there's no evidence that the organization has illegal objectives.

The Danish People's Party, New Alliance and the Radicals continue to demand a ban against Hizb ut-Tahrir. And New Alliance's leader, Naser Kahder, has specially requested further studies of Hizb ut-Tahrir's cooperation with Muslim organizations in other countries along with the money trail both of the Danish branch and between the international branches.

Of course, to do that, Denmark would have grow an anti-dhimmi backbone and do something else.

Khader recommends that prosecutor Jørgen Steen Sørensen take a course in Islamic ideology.

Right! It’s the ideology, stupid!

 

Storm Track Appeasement: France Realizes Its at War – Surrender !!

Well, it must be a real war in Afghanistan because the French majority want to surrender to the Taliban.

FRENCH troops in Afghanistan suffered one of their worst military defeats since the Algerian war of independence, leaving President Nicolas Sarkozy facing one of the biggest crises of his political career as he came under attack for supporting Nato against the Taliban.

Amid an unprecedented display of national doubt and soul-searching, parliamentary hearings on the French role in Afghanistan were being scheduled to address growing public concern about young men being used as “cannon fodder” in a war against a seemingly invincible enemy.

Hmmm…Doesn’t history prove that all enemies of France are seemingly invincible?

On Thursday Sarkozy, visibly shaken as he stood before the flag-draped coffins of 10 soldiers killed in an ambush, praised the bravery of young men “cut down in the flower of youth” and insisted that France would continue to pull its weight in the multinational Nato force that is struggling to keep the Taliban, or “barbarians”, as he called them, from power.

Welcome to party, Mr. Sarkozy. Now you know how Bush feels when confronted with a defeatist opposition.

The French losses in a single battle on Monday were almost as great as their total of 14 casualties since 2001 and shocked the nation into the realisation that, rather than just another peace-keeping mission, Afghanistan was a real war.

A real war !! My god. If the French knew that (and why they wouldn’t is beyond me) they would have surrendered long ago.

 

Those are examples of the rising Jihad temperature of for this week. When seen in groups like this, the slow boil becomes obvious.
