Winds of War: Fool Me Once … Fool Me Twice …

It’s no surprise that Pakistan has not been the best ally in our fight against the Taliban. But these two examples of their ‘cooperation’ take the cake.

It’s not enough that Pakistan had blocked the major fuel supply route to our forces, but now they are pretending to fight the Taliban.

So here was Namdar — Taliban chieftain, enforcer of Islamic law, usurper of the Pakistani government and trainer and facilitator of suicide bombers in Afghanistan — sitting at home, not three miles from Peshawar, untouched by the Pakistani military operation that was supposedly unfolding around us.

What’s going on? I asked the warlord. Why aren’t they coming for you?

“I cannot lie to you,” Namdar said, smiling at last. “The army comes in, and they fire at empty buildings. It is a drama — it is just to entertain.”

Entertain whom? I asked.

“America,” he said.

With allies like Pakistan – who needs enemies?

Meanwhile …..

Islamist terrorists have stepped up their efforts to develop a 'dirty' bomb for use against Western targets, senior Western security sources have told The Daily Telegraph.

They are exploiting the political chaos in Pakistan in a bid to acquire nuclear material for a 'spectacular' attack.

At least one plot has been uncovered involving Pakistani-based terrorists planning to use nuclear material against a major European target.

I wonder what the European city will be? Who would fold the quickest into full surrender to Islam as Spain did.
