Winds of War: Iran Withdraws from Beijing Paralympics

The Iranian men's wheelchair basketball team has withdrawn from the Beijing Paralympics competition because they’d face the USA and Israel teams.

Bigots or cowards? You decide.

The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) and the International Paralympic Committee today announced that Iran have pulled out of competition due to their dissatisfaction with the draw proposed for the cross-over round and subsequent schedule. 

There is conjecture that this in in reference to the possibility of Iran playing Israel if they got through to the next round. 

Iran were due to play the USA today. 

And why don’t you withdraw from our 21^st century civilization a crawl back you’re your primitive rat holes. If anyone doesn’t see the bloody conflict with these primitives, they’re living in a Disneyland.
