Winds of War: Thinking About the Unthinkable– Part 3: War in America

In Part 2 of this series, we discussed how a militaristic ‘battle front’ might develop in World War III and how a civil war blow over from Europe or a nuke exchange in the mid-east hampering or halting the oil flow would precipitate a world war.

But what would be the effect on the USA? Outside of a ballistic missile exchange between the Islamic Republics - though possible I see as unlikely due to the instant atomizing of their nation by the US - the Islamists would use terror as a tactic to inflict so much damage to our economic and social infrastructure that we would have to sue for peace and bow to Islamic demands - the imposition of Sharia law and submission to a global Caliphate.

That, of course, we will not do. We would respond brutally to those who we suspect of either being or supporting the terrorists in our midst and in the process bring on a Constitutional crisis in this country. Let’s first look at the economic effects of terrorism as it’s now being used in Israel - the objective of bringing a country to its financial knees.

Economic jihad, as a goal of terrorist acts inside the US, will not succeed. First, our economy has gone through the Great Depression and we still kept our democratic ideals. The American eagle is tough old bird not matter what the elitists believe. But what if terrorism comes to the point of really damaging our infrastructure and economy? Before that happens I see Muslims and Muslim supporters being interned like the Japanese-Americans were in World War II, mosques boarded up, Islamic organizations closed, and even the practice of Islam outlawed.

The Japanese the analogy is not that far off. The Japanese-Americans and non-American Japanese that were interned during World War II saw their businesses closed, their social and political organizations disbanded, and their Shinto religion – the source of most virulent teachings against the white race - and its practice outlawed.

Not a pretty prospect for Muslims in this country. But it can and probably will come to that if America is under constant attack from within. The movie The Siege gives a good example of this probability but this time the Hollywood FBI will not ride to the Muslim rescue in defense of their rights. In the movie, all male Muslims between the target ages of potential terrorists will be round up and interned. This event will make Camp Delta at Guantanamo look like a Jihadi Club Med.

It would be a war fought on America’s soil, not a civil war, with the iron clad rule of ‘zero-tolerance’ for anyone or any organization that even smells of a threat or preaches even a hint of sedition. How intolerant?

In the words of Blogcritics, “If they’re not citizens and they’re preaching jihad, you ship them out of the country so fast it makes their turbaned heads spin. If they are citizens, then you watch them like a hawk, and if they so much as spit on the sidewalk, you come down on them like a ton of bricks…. Of course, before any of that could ever happen, the dross of extreme multiculturalism would have to be tossed out like yesterday’s garbage. And unfortunately, in most advanced Western societies the mental disorder of extreme multiculturalism (the key word here being “extreme”) can be every bit as virulent as the mental disorder of radical Islam.”

After a few hundred thousand Americans die at home in these attacks in response to our support for the shooting war, life as a Muslim in this country will be - to quote Thomas Hobbes - nasty, brutish and short.
