Storm Track Infiltration: The Next Step in Malaysia’s Short Road to Islamofication

Once considered a moderate country with a large Muslim population, Malaysia continues to show that it is being undermined by the Islamists.

KUALA LUMPUR: Regressive. Unfair. Biased.

These were some of the words used to describe the proposal by the Foreign Ministry that women leaving the country alone be required to have declarations from parents or employers stating the reason for their travels.

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said yesterday he had submitted a proposal to the cabinet.

The proposal drew flak from non-governmental and women's organisations, with their representatives making clear their outrage.

And do we hear anything from the left wing feminists in the West? No. nada. Not a peep.

The outrage is coming from women’s organizations in Malaysia.

National Council for Women's Organisations Malaysia (NCWO) deputy president Faridah Khalid called the proposal "backward and unfair".

"This is an infringement of our rights," she said.

"We're the victims and now you're creating more problems.

"Why must you put more restrictions on women?

"We have worked hard over the years to get to this level."

Faridah said the government should think it out properly before taking such measures.

"Sometimes, ministers make suggestions and decisions in haste," she said.

Right. The Foreign Minister woke one morning and out of the clear blue decided to put these restrictions on a woman’s freedom. Maybe he read the Koran the night before?

To be fair, the government was trying to come up with a way to combat trans-border crimes where women are being used as easy targets, which is equitable to forced labor or even prostitution.

So instead of going after the criminals or the cause of the problem, the Muslim mind removes the effect. Just like they do with trying to control the sexual urges of Muslim me. Remove the temptation and the problem will go away even if it means restricting a person’s freedom.
