Storm Track Disinformation: Terrorism? What Terrorism?

This is the end result of a public education in America today. “Padilla Jurors: We’re Not So Sure 9/11 Was A Terrorist Attack.”

A significant number of potential jurors in the Jose Padilla terrorism support case say they aren’t sure who is responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, many because they don’t trust the news media or U.S. government pronouncements. “There are too many ifs, too many things going on,” one male juror said. “I don’t know the whole story.”

He doesn’t know the whole story? Has he been hiding under a rock the last 5 years? And this idiot probably has a voter registration card.

To be sure, most jurors without a Sept. 11 opinion are aware that the attacks have been blamed on terrorists of some sort. But many seem unwilling to believe the conclusion reached by the national Sept. 11 Commission and the Bush administration, widely reported by news media, that blames al-Qaida and its leader, Osama bin Laden.

OBL himself claimed responsibility for 9-11.

One female juror agreed that was a “general public consensus” but still held out skepticism.

If that’s what the general public believes then what is this country coming to?

  • The Special Agent in Charge (SAC)of the FBI in Miami scoffs at the idea of terrorism in the United States.....according to him, only crackpots consider such ideas credible.

    As feared, the number of Americans willing to risk exposure to the traffic, cops, and weather in Manhattan to protect their country from the Jihadniks in our midst......numbered less than ten individuals.

    From Samuel Adams;

    If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
    -- Samuel Adams

    The United States is well on the road to suffering (or "enjoying") a nuclear attack, an attack that could have, should have, been prevented. This time there will be no need of conspiracy theories.......it will be our own fault.

  • Yeah. We're all a big bunch of softies because Jose Padilla's original charge (the one Dinglefritz John Ashcroft saw fit to cite) has been dropped by the government. Do you know why it was dropped?

    We're soft because just maybe Padilla is innocent until proven guilty (and since Ashcroft's original charge is no longer viable....).

    Being a tough guy, you can sleep soundly, knowing that if Padilla is found innocent in this trial, my government can put him back into military hands and hold another trial/"tribunal" and then they and you can find him guilty, even if he's innocent. Or, as they do now, just hold him indefinitely as an enemy combatant, until long after you've fallen to the terrible swift sword.

    I believe in justice here in America. I don't see any with this case.

    Furthermore, just because someone (Osama or whoever) claims responsibility for a crime (9/11), doesn't mean he's automatically guilty. As Americans, we pride ourselves on impartiality. I want to see Osama brought to justice, same as Saddam, but I wouldn't let guys like you anywhere near him if he's taken into custody. I wouldn't trust you to administer justice. You're too emotional, too soft.
