Storm Track Disinformation: Muslim Forum Hits Back at Anti-Dhimmi Brit Channel

Britain’s Channel 4 is at it again and stirring up trouble according to Muslim leaders in Britain. A controversial drama is being aired on Channel 4 that depicts a young Muslim driven to become Britain's first female suicide bomber.

And the British Muslim Forum doesn’t like it.

A controversial Channel 4 drama, which depicts a second-generation British Muslim woman as a suicide bomber, was condemned last night by the British Muslim Forum.

Khurshid Ahmed, the chairman of the forum, called on Channel 4 not to air the film, Britz, which is due to be shown in two parts on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Britz tells the story of a brother and sister, Sohail and Nasima, as they are 'pulled in different directions by their conflicting personal experiences in post-9/11 Britain'.

Khurshid Ahmed said last night: 'Channel 4 should be working with us to defeat terrorism and extremism, not sowing hate and division in our communities, and reinforcing negative stereotypes.'

Ah yes! Let’s talk about negative stereotypes. Where oh where must these stereotypes come from. Not from the Muslim community of course – or do they?

Extremist literature calling for the execution of gays and the oppression of women is being distributed in British mosques. Researchers found radical or hate-filled books and pamphlets at a quarter of the 100 Islamic religious institutions they visited.

Hmm…25%. Is that the small minority of extremists that we keep hearing about? 25% is might large in my estimates.

They said much of the literature is linked to agencies of the Saudi Arabian government.

Ah, Yes. Our friends the Saudis. But it gets better. Tell the Islamic Big Lie well learned from the Nazi fascists. Oops, can’t say fascists and Islam I n the same sentence. Wash my mouth out with soap.

The revelations come at the start of a state visit to the UK by Saudi King Abdullah, who immediately triggered controversy by accusing Britain of not doing enough to tackle terrorism.

Brahahahahah. We’re not doing enough while they spew their poisonous literature in the mosques? What cajones!

The material found in the mosques urges Muslims to lead separate lives from 'nonbelievers' and makes repeated calls for gays to be killed. Women should be subjugated and are warned not to pluck their eyebrows or wear perfume.

In the alarming report, drawn up by the Policy Exchange thinktank, the Saudis were accused of having a 'powerful and malign' influence.

The contentious pamphlets are either written by the country's Wahhabite religious establishment, published by official or semi-official institutions or found in Saudi-funded or linked mosques.

Now compare the Saudi’s approach to ‘terrorism’ with one of their fellow Muslims who won’t be confused by the Islamist propaganda. A Muslim hero with a pen written by Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury who was awarded the 2007 Monaco Award for Courage in Journalism.

Courageous and charming, Choudhury is well received wherever he goes. Unassuming and self-deprecating, “I’m not an important person in this fight, but only a small cog in the wheel,” he told CFP.

But Shoaib Choudhury is in reality a Muslim hero, at a time when a terrorism wary world most needs one.

A little guy with spunk, Choudhury had tucked the latest copies of The Weekly Blitz (his newspaper) into his suitcase on the way to a 2003 conference in Tel Aviv.

Instead government agents arrested him, as he was about to board his plane. The arrest was carried out with Islamist forces because of his open advocacy of relations with Israel and interfaith dialogue based on his religions equality, and his many articles exposing the rise of radical Islam in Bangladesh through some 64.000-and growing Bangladeshi madrasses.

Tortured and refused medication for the glaucoma from which he suffers; forbidden to attend his own mother’s funeral, Choudhury was held in prison for 17 months. Indeed, he was only released after unrelenting pressure by Benkin and Kirk. Bangladeshi officials, who admit they are maintained only to appease Islamists, have never dropped the trumped up charges against him.

A true hero with guts to tell the truth.

Choudhury has made it a life mission to pursue the truth in the most dangerous of places.

Praise from around the world met the publication of his new book Injustice & Jihad. “Mr. Choudhury is a man in the mold of such heroes of freedom as Vaclav Havel and Lech Walesa,” said the New York Sun.

“The Weekly Blitz is saying we have to say no to jihad, not to Holocaust denial, and we openly advocate relations between Dhaka and Jerusalem,” he tells American policy makers.

When he started out just a few years ago, the words `Israel’ and `Jew’ were taboo. In Muslim dominated Bangladesh. Thanks to the unflagging courage of an editor whose office was bombed twice, now they are not.

The words, “If there will be no more voices against jihad, in tomorrow’s world there will be thousands of Osama bin Ladens” will resonate long after he returns home.

“They are active; we are silent. Our silence is giving them strength.”

If Muslims really want to show a positive face to the world then they’ll nee more Choudhurys and less King Abdullahs.
